I'm Back!

There have been quite a few changes since we last spoke....

I got a haircut...

I became a substitute teacher! (Its been interesting...)

                    I got a scottish terrier puppy! My dream! His name is Remington. (Remy for short)

                                    And as you can see (and now I can too) I got new glasses!

 

I have finished my second semester of college and I will be posting as much as I can this summer! I have a ton of cute clothes to show you and I will be stocking the shop as soon as I can. What's new in your world?

Fancy Wedding Attire

 My Uncle Mike's wedding was on Friday so this is the outfit I came up with. I also wanted to show off my boyfriend Dakota! He looks adorable in his outfit. He said he wanted a more classic look and he asked for a pocket watch for our anniversary (AWW!!) I wore my gingham black and white dress with a patent leather belt and my black gloves. I also paired it with my pearl collar and black heels. We had such a good time and It was nice being the best dressed couple ;) xoxo, Amber and Dakota

 As seen in the title, I got to wear my new shoes today! They are quite comfortable and they look cute with sock so that's a plus.I went to my favorite thrift store after class today and I found some wonderful things. I got a 60s dress with a cute belt, a polka dot shirt with a bow, and my boyfriend found a The Who's Tommy album with a pinball cover! If this place ever closed I would probably lay down and die...

Oh! For all of my fellow cat lovers out there: I was informed by my brother this morning that my cat had somehow gotten through the door last night, unnoticed, with a live rat in his mouth! He was caught trying to get into my room before he was thrown outside. I don't even want to think about the horror that could have been if he had gotten in bed with me! Aren't cats adorable?! Happy September

 Hello, I'm just popping in to share a few pictures from today! I've been lazing around watching Mad Men on netflix for most of the weekend. Take a look at my sweet kitten, Eagle, sleeping in a drawer of pants! He brightens every day.

First day of school

 So Today I started back to college and we are feeling the effects of a tropical storm! Its rainy and gloomy and my hair was messed up in five minutes of being outside. That is why I only have two very bad photos to share. Its so windy outside that my schedule flew out of my hands and I had to rush and get a new one so I could get to my beloved American History class.

 I love American History and my professor seems to be a nice guy with a lot of knowledge so I know it will be fun. I also have abnormal psychology which will be very interesting because it's all about disorders! (My favorite!) I decided to come on very strong for the first day with my suede vintage cape and vintage dress/ gloves. I love this outfit and I had been looking for an excuse to wear the cape for a year now. Well, I have to go do a history quiz and get ready for my math class. Hopefully this rain stops for a bit. xoxo, Amber.

cat dress and knee highs

So this is my cat dress from modcloth that I loved at first sight and bought immediately. After I got it and wore it I received a lot of compliments... everyone loved my "adorable COW print dress" Yeah, everyone thought my cats were cows. I still love this dress though, because I love anything with a crazy print and peter pan collar. I also love knee high socks and I thought everyone else did too, but my mom hates them. She also hates saddle shoes and light blue cats eye glasses (which all sound amazing to me!) because she had to wear them as a kid. I think she was pretty lucky.

So today my favorite shoes died. RIP black suede t- strap flats! My sister borrowed you without asking and ran you through the mud and left you in the car to rot. You never got to see these wonderful shoes but they were the shoes of my dreams. I am very upset! But I ordered two pairs of similar ones, not as cute but they will have to do.
