Indie market pictures

Here is a recap of Sunday in pictures... I woke up and got all dolled up for the day. I wore my 50s gingham dress with my pink shawl and worked hard to style my hair. It was terribly hot, so after getting to the festival and setting up my table, I had to ditch the shawl. There were booths inside a warehouse and outside. We were outside. Everyone was selling unique handmade or vintage items. The owner of lollipops and pistols was there in her converted food truck which she sells her amazing clothes out of!
Those creepy heads are hand painted by me. I had quite a bit of vintage fur, which didn't sell well on a hot Florida day, but I gave it a shot. You can't see, but my clothing was set behind the dress form and we sold a dress right away!
Our booth neighbor was a very talented man who runs a shop called galvinleatherworks. Look him up! He makes tons of amazing things out of leather. That top hat was so cool.
After we sold a few things, it started to rain, or should I say pour. That was the end of my lovely hairdo!

I had a bit of free time, so I looked around the other booths and met the owners. I spotted this beautiful picture of Bettie Page and I had to get her! The quote fits me so well "are my seams straight?" (I wear a lot of stockings with back seams). The creator of this masterpiece has a shop called Love Allison. Make sure to check her out too!
I walked around to the Lollipops and Pistols truck to see if she wanted to trade and she did! That's how I got this beautiful day dress. I am so happy with it and will be taking photos in it soon!
At another booth, I traded a dress for this unique one. I adore it! I had such a fun time at the market, selling clothes and meeting new people. The next one is set to be in October and I will be looking forward to it! Xoxo, Amber
